As an international student, gaining hands-on experience in your field of study is essential for your career development and future success.馃馃従鈥嶐煆�
Ways you can do this is by looking for companies or industries in your major, and reaching out to them to work for a possible internship. Which then allows you to do CPT (curriculum practical training). This allows you to become familiar with what you would want to do after graduating.
As a biology student, I reached out to companies asking for possible internships and got a position in a lab. The experience I鈥檝e gained from these internships have really helped me get more understanding of what my major entails and make me more passionate!
