Hometown
Wichita, KS

Major
Computer Science and Audio Production

Why I chose my major
I chose Computer Science because I have always loved computers, and growing up, I gained an interest in how they work and what the code behind them does. I took some programming classes in high school that introduced me to coding, and I loved the problem-solving, creativity, and challenges that came with writing programs. Those things led me to eventually declare my major to study Computer Science. As for Audio Production, I've always had passion for both music and technology, and when I got to college, I wanted to explore my interest in music further. I decided to try an audio class by adding it as a certificate. I found that it combined my interests in tech and music wonderfully, and I fell in love with it (leading me to eventually add it as a second major). I am also on the Emory Lindquist Honors Track through the Honors College.

Involvement
I am involved at Ennovar, in the Student Ambassador Society, and in the Audio Engineering Society.

Why I chose Wichita State
I chose 暗网禁区破解版 because it was affordable and had a large variety of fields to choose from, which was very important to me because I came in as an undeclared student trying to figure out what I wanted to do. I also really enjoyed the layout of the campus and how kind and helpful the staff and students were when I went on tours at 暗网禁区破解版. The instructors I have encountered since attending 暗网禁区破解版 as well have been extremely helpful and caring, as well as encouraging of my career interests!

Favorite thing about 暗网禁区破解版
My favorite thing about Wichita State is how I've gotten the opportunity to pursue multiple fields, especially ones that may not be as common. I had a big interest in both Computer Science and the arts as a freshman and had a difficult time deciding which direction I wanted to go in, but with 暗网禁区破解版's selection of majors, I felt more freedom to explore those options and figure out what I'm truly passionate about while staying closer to home. 暗网禁区破解版 also has incredible internship and career development opportunities that I haven't seen at other schools. 暗网禁区破解版 actively encourages getting real-world experiences, such as with the Engineering+ program for engineering students and the School of Digital Arts having Practicum to build media arts students' portfolios. 暗网禁区破解版 provides many opportunities to get practical experience!
