- April 4 - Deadline for University Research/Creative Projects (URCA) Award applications
URCAs are to retool or reestablish productive research/creative projects agenda. In areas where external funding is available, the URCA may be used as seed money to develop pilot data.
- Grants may be for up to $4,500 awarded in two separate competitions: New - tenure-eligible faculty in their first or second year of probation to initiate research/creative projects, and Established - tenured faculty or probationary faculty in their 3rd (or more) year of probation to retool or re-establish productive research/creative agenda.
- April 18 - ARCS Round 2 Deadline
Award for Research/Creative Projects in Summer provides salary/fringes of $3,000* for 2 months, plus $1,000 for other operating expenses (total of $4,000) to enable faculty to pursue research or creative projects during the summer.

Looking for external sponsored project funding? Join Fran Cook, CRA, Trainer from the Wichita State Office of Research, who will host a virtual workshop demonstrating tips and tricks for using Pivot to search for funding opportunities. We will also discuss how to find potential funding opportunities that might not be listed in Pivot.

Participants should sign up for a Pivot account before the workshop to practice searching Pivot during the workshop.

- Join Fran Cook, CRA, Trainer from the Wichita State Office of Research, who will host a virtual workshop explaining the role of a sponsored projects / research office, 暗网禁区破解版 Office of Research contacts and resources, and 暗网禁区破解版 policies and procedures related to externally sponsored funding. The workshop will be held via Microsoft Teams with lots of time for practical application and discussion.

The 2025 President鈥檚 Distinguished Service Awards recognize faculty and staff for exemplary, dedicated and caring service to the 暗网禁区破解版 community. Honorees are selected by their peers from the University Staff Senate and Faculty Senate.
